The Candy Wrapper Museum

The classic basic Oompas wrapper. I always liked Oompas. They were like bigger, delicious M&Ms and tastier than Reese's Pieces when they later came out. I like the way these melted in your mouth, and it was fun to bite into them to separate out the peanut butter and the chocolate. Wonka seemed to like to add exciting claims about how the candy was new and improved; in this case, Oompas became "peanut butterier"! Maybe because peanut butter was less expensive to manufacture than chocolate?
