The Candy Wrapper Museum

Turkey, turkey, turkey, turkey, turkey... are you sick of turkey yet? That's often the post-Thanksgiving reaction when the whole family winds up eating for days... COLD TURKEY. This wrapper pays honor to this great American tradition.

Of course, the term "cold turkey" has another connotation, which begs the question with this candy: "Why?" Yes, WHY the Cold Turkey bar? Is this what you eat when you give up smoking? When you're about to fast? When you've given up normal candy? The answers to these questions are apparently lost to time. Somehow I doubt we'll ever return to this more freewheeling time when a product could be named something completely whimsical for seemingly no good reason.
